Book review on The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

Title:The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane.
By:Kate DiCamillo

The story is about a rabbit doll made of china. The story began with his first owner, Abilene. She loved and took care of Edward, but he did not love her back. One day, Abilene and her parents had a trip to London. While on board the ship, Edward was grabbed by two boys and started playing catch. He was accidentally thrown in the ocean for a long time. He was found by a fisherman named Lawrence. Lawrence and Nellie (his wife) loved him and gave him a new name,"Susanna". Unfortunately, their daughter threw him and he ended in the dump. He was left there for along time, until finally he was discovered by a dog named Lucy, and gave him to its owner, Bull. They both lived in the streets and they took Edward along in their journey. One night Bull, Lucy and Edward slept in a train cabin. The train inspector got mad at them and throw him out. He landed on a field and an old lady picked him up. She turned him into a scare crow. Her helper, Bryce, untied Edward from the stand and brought him home. He gave Edward to Sarah Ruth, she loved him until her death. When she died, Bryce tied Edward to strings and started to make him dance. his head got smashed into 21 pieces by the owner of a diner. When he woke up he found himself in a toy shop and his head put back together again but still with crack marks. the name of the store is Lucious Clarck's toy store. Edward was there for along, long time until he was bought by a little girl named Maggie. She was the daughter of Edwards old owner Abilene. Edward felt so so happy and not just Abilene found him.
